Our History
The history of Wright Global Graphics begins in 1961 when two brothers, Bill and Tom Wright, set up shop in a small building in downtown Thomasville, North Carolina –– just a block away from the landmark “big chair.”
Wright of Thomasville (our original name) focused on serving the needs of the home furnishings market, the mattress industry, as well as the carpet and rug industry. The Wright brothers began their venture on the idea that printing was a creative medium and the belief that “a promise made is a promise kept.”
As their business grew, so did their families. Eventually, they moved just outside the town limits into a larger building. Here, the brothers kept hard at work running a business and raising a family. They encouraged their children to spend time on weekends and in summers with the craftsmen. What the children learned from them–– how to operate the equipment, take pride in a job well done, and have integrity –– turned the Wright brothers’ business into a Wright family business.
Today, that business consists of four U.S. manufacturing facilities and one in China. Led by Bill’s sons Greg, Don and Ron, the Wright family continues to keep their promises, expand their capabilities and grow their markets, which now include the food & beverage industry and outdoor sports.
While a lot has changed over the years, one thing will never waver: Putting our client’s marketing & branding needs at the center of everything we do and continuously applying what is at the heart of us –– Tools, Talent, and Tenacity.
